Business Services Graduate/Undergraduate

Due to internal growth within the practice, we currently have the opportunity for an ambitious young accountant looking to Jump-Start their professional career in the accounting profession whilst completing the final year of study or having just completed their degree. This role will provide the opportunity for you to learn and development of the full range of accounting skills, including accounting, tax, superannuation & audit all within a boutique CBD accounting firm that has been supporting clients for over 50 years.

Minett & Partners is a Sydney CBD firm of Chartered Accountants established in 1968 with both interstate and international affiliations ensuring the prompt and professional delivery of a diverse range of services including tax compliance and advice, accounting, auditing and management consulting.

We will provide you with:

  • Support for your university studies, including flexible working arrangements;
  • Regular In-House training and development to assist in developing your technical skills from qualified accountants;
  • A diverse client base that can expose you to multiple issues keeping work challenging and exciting.

Candidates will need to Demonstrate:

  • Entering your final year of an approved accounting degree, or recently completed;
  • Solid Time Management Skills;
  • An Eye for Detail;
  • Strong Communication Skills;
  • A strong desire to learn and develop as a professional accountant.

Business Services Senior/Supervisor

Due to internal growth within the practice, we have the opportunity for a dynamic and ambitious accountant to take the next step in their career. This role will provide the opportunity for you to learn and develop the full range of professional accounting skills, including accounting, tax, superannuation & audit all within a boutique CBD accounting firm that has been supporting clients for over 50 years.

Minett & Partners is a Sydney CBD firm of Chartered Accountants established in 1968 with both interstate and international affiliations ensuring the prompt and professional delivery of a diverse range of services including tax compliance and advice, accounting, auditing and management consulting.

You will be responsible for handling your own portfolio of clients whilst performing a range of accounting functions for our clients:

  • Develop and maintain existing relationships with clients;
  • Preparation of financial statements and tax returns;
  • Review and mentoring of junior staff;
  • Tax Planning and advisory;
  • Management Accounting.

Candidates will need to Demonstrate:

  • At least 5 years experience in professional practice;
  • CA or CPA Qualified or nearing completion;
  • Time Management Skills;
  • An Eye for Detail;
  • Strong Technical skills;
  • Strong Communication Skills;
  • Ability to Manage and develop a team.
